My Pick:

The 2 good cards here in the pack are Surrakar Marauder and the Plated Geopede. I choose the geopede since there is another good black card in the pack - Vampire Hexmage. I would not want to be sending bad signals. Its been a while since I drafted mono-red, lets see if I can force the archetype.
Pack 1 pick 2:

My Pick:

The only good card here is Hideous End. THIS PACK STINKS.
Pack 1 pick 3:

My Pick:

I'll try to stick with red 1st. Worst case its a grizzly bear.
Pack 1 pick 4:

My Pick:

So far it looks like i'm going RB.
Pack 1 pick 5:

My Pick:

There is no pick for me here, I'll just take the one I hate to face the most.
Pack 1 pick 6:

My Pick:

There are some debates on the viability of this card in zen draft. Some say its slow for a very fast format and pros would rather be casting a surrakar or a geopede insted of this on turn 2.

Recap: So far I've drafted a shallow BR deck. I'm seriously lacking on playables. Hopefully Pack 2 will be good. Pack 2 pick 1:

My Pick:

Electropotence is extremely slow in draft, but very good in sealed. I can't believe I'm picking a magma rift for my Pack 2 Pick 1.
Pack 2 pick 2:

My Pick:

Nice.
Pack 2 pick 3:

My Pick:

Keep 'em coming.
Pack 2 pick 4:

My Pick:

There aren't alot of Nonbasics in draft. so The ruinblaster is out of the question. On the other hand, there's his brother.
Pack 2 pick 5:

My Pick:

Must be nice.
Pack 2 pick 6:

My Pick:

Really nice. Looks like the signal is paying off. Punishing fire is the better card, but if I'm going monored, I will need a beatstick. And I lack critters right now.

I'm still lacking playables to go mono-red. my deck will be good if I can pick up a couple of Spire Barrages and some more ravagers.
Pack 3 pick 1:

My Pick:

man, that catacombs will complete my collection and is really tempting... hopefully I can still salvage my draft. I get the machete because it makes all my guys into large threats. Trust me, that ravager will table- in an Ogie Jaro sort of voice.
Pack 3 pick 2:

My Pick:

There's my barrage!

My Pick:

this goblin is very under-rated in zen draft. I wonder why. Looks very good to me.

here is the deck I played:

I went straight mono-red. Therefore I had to make use of some fillers like the hedron scrabbler. Triggering landfall will not be a problem since I am playing with 18 lands, and I have 2 Trusty Machetes to equip the scabbler to.
I played the deck to the finals but lost to manascrew. Yep, 18 lands and I lost to manascrew. The MTGO Shuffler can be cruel at times. 3 packs. not bad.
you could have go away with a verdant catacomb p3p1 and still end up with up a trusty machete p3p5, hehehe. but of course, you only see that happening in 4322 pods... :p
